- Shadow Jago cannot access the Laser Sword special move.
- The Wind Kick input will trigger the Ninja Slide instead, so no Wind Kick either
- B+HP and F+HK have been replaced
- Shadow Surge
- Shadow Jago has a special combat trait, called Shadow Surge.
- When you perform a special move, simply press the same button again quickly to spend a small amount of Shadow Meter to enhance the attack.

- Shendokuken
- Just like Jago, Shago can throw a horizontal fireball, but he can also do it in the air!
- If you Surge this move, Shago tosses a 2nd fireball at an angle!
- Dark Fury
- Shago’s uppercut spins vertically with no forward movement, hitting multiple times.
- If you Surge this move, Shago teleports back to the ground for a 2nd followup attack!
- Dark Fury is a very anti-cross up
- Dark Slide
- Boss Shago’s signature Ninja Slide attack.
- If you Surge this move, Shago teleports behind the opponent and attacks crossup, but it is unsafe!
- Dark Stalking
- Boss Shago’s signatures Divekick!
- Performing this from the ground causes Shago to flip into the air a set of distance first.
- Bounces off on hit or block.
- If you Surge this move, it will hit repeatedly like a drill and land safely on block, or open a comb on hit.
- You can use it as a linker too!
- Dark Dashing
- Shago’s dash and backdash go much farther than Jago’s but take longer.
- During travel, Shago phases out and is briefly invulanaerabl and can pass through opponents.
- You can Throw, Dark Fury uppercut, or Dark Stalking divekick-leap to cancel to dash early.
- Instinct Mode?
- It’s killer. Look forward to it!
Can’t wait I meant
Oh wait this is going to kick ass!
Yeah, me too and I know man 🙂
So is his sword essentially an unusable accessory? Just curious as to why there is no sword move. As well, it appears that shadow Jago has 1 opener (without the expense of meter) the rest of the cast has, at minimum 2. Glad to see Shadow Jago taking shape though, I played him essentially because he looked cool and had an awesome voice.
Yo mike our dream might come true season 3
And I already have a pretty good feeling that Season 3 is going to happen and will come true/come to fruition too anytime soon now 😉
Wow can’t wait play boss shadow jago mwah
Shadow Jago, i am so waiting to play as him. When is his release? Missed KI stream. So far, i like the additions, but a little concerned for the takeaways. MS/IG, please keep him true like the Boss SJ. In addition, will Shadow Jago have his ULTIMATE? Please ULTIMATES.
For his Ultimate, but of course he will STILL have that 🙂
@Mike,
He’ll have it but it will only be available on the Shadow Tigers Lair. He has been nerfed from his S1 moveset so I’m unsure if he’ll play like I expected him to.
Oh yes, I understand as well as remember those particular details including his Ultimate regarding the new and revamped/updated Shadow Jago
Also he will be release either at the end of this year or early next year
Oh yes, Shadow Jago is definitely becoming/turning into just that: A REAL BOY for the entire KI cast/roster 😉 🙂
