Here are the highlights from today’s Killer Instinct stream…
- Brand new portraits for the characters on the character select screen
- Font is now enlarged
- TJ has a new monster hunting outfit
- 12 customization slots for characters; 6 for default costume and 6 for retro
- Colors 7, 8 and 9 coming this season for every character
- Color 9 will be very special and will prove you’re a dedicated player to that character
- Kan-Ra’s stage is called the Forbidden Archive
- Maya and TJ Combo’s classic costumes are still coming
- New non-character specific achievements will come this season
- Kan-Ra is a collector of ancient artifacts
- Still love the idea of a respect taunt, but haven’t had the time to begin working on it
- There will be more than 8 characters
- There are more than four stage ultra’s in the game
- Kan-Ra’s Forbidden Archive stage has a Stage Ultra
- New ranking system coming early next year
- Season one stages will not have Stage Ultras at this time. They have plans for them, but first want to add them to the new Season 2 stages first
- There will not be character specific intros this season
- You can now upgrade from Combo Breaker to Ultra any time you want with Season 2. They are still working on adding it to Season 1
- A stage coming this season that will be on the top of a building. It’s called The Pinnacle
- Aria is super powerful and super confident.
- Riptor has been augmented. Includes many of her classic moves as well as new ones
- Riptor will be available in early December. More info coming next month
- A bonus character will be discussed in December
- Shadow Jago may not ever be available for individual purchase
- They are big fans of Battletoads
- No date yet for when classic costumes will begin rolling out
- Would love to include Battletoads as guest characters
- There will not be any ultimates this season
- Kan-Ra will not be free for the first week
- They have considered updating the in-game hud to match the Ultra Tech themed menu
- Riptor is the smallest character this season
- New accessories are coming for every character
- Cinder can still talk and is still cocky
- A lot of great things planned for Tusk and Kim Wu. Neither will be available this season though
- They’ve discussed possible 2vs2 modes. May not be this season though, but other modes are coming
- Kan-Ra is one of the most difficult characters to play
- Riptor is a rushdown character
- Another character this season will be a grappler
- Thunder will not be getting his Phoenix move back
- More merchandise and collectibles are coming
- Original Riptor tease at the end of Kan-Ra’s trailer was going to be just audio, but decided to show her instead
- Textual stream and patch notes will be up later before 1pm PST
- Cinder will be an easy character to learn
- Don’t expect blood and gore no mercys
- January’s character will be revealed during Riptor’s trailer next month
- No plans ‘right now’ for a PC version
- Not everyone this season has projectiles
- Not planning to add new moves to season one characters at this time
- Riptor has some range extending attacks
- Looking at other ways to promote the game
- There will be things related to Gargos this season
- They have an idea of what they’d like to do with Gargos, but aren’t quite sure about Eyedol yet
- Cinder will not have an infinite, but may have fun referencing it in his Ultra Combo
- Kan-Ra has Egyptian, Incan, and Chinese accessory sets
- Fulgore has some new changes coming
- Kan-Ra is 2500 years old, but he is not the oldest character this season
- There will be much more story this season

You right but they could put nomarcy an ultimate on the characters we got now look at boss shadow jago he got ultimate
So we may get Gargos and Eyedol afterall? Interesting. Season 3 isn’t guaranteed but would like to see no mercies by then but I think releasing the characters should be first priority and tweaking them later on
Yes, I can definitely agree with u on first releasing the KI characters and later fixing them for KI Season 2
Ultimate an nomarcy not coming wat are they doing ppl get tire of doing ultra all the time an some stage will have no stage ultra in season 1 o well deal with it an it still tight
What now? Riptor is the SMALLEST character this season? Really? Seriously? Not the LARGEST one for this season? Come on now

The person who created this page was misinformed. The avenging ghost is actually the shortest character as I was shocked to know that someone is shorter than Kan-Ra. Shortest character is avenging ghost not Riptor.

Oh yeah, I already found that out from Kan-Ra’s live gameplay stream. In fact the avenging ghost has now been officially confirmed to be THAT 5’4 KI character in KI Season 2. So thanks very much still for providing me that particular piece of info and I really appreciate the heads-up/update too Eric ^_^
