Earlier this week a fan had tweeted Ken Lobb about Killer Instinct characters in Mortal Kombat 10 and Mortal Kombat characters in Season 2 of Killer Instinct. Ken Lobb replied back saying that he and Ed should talk and Ed responded to that with the joke about MK vs KI.
This by no means any of this is happening but what do you guys think? Would you like some crossover be it a character or two in each of the games or a full versus game. Fighters for their respective platforms have been known to included platform specific exclusive fighters before.

This would be the next cross over fighter I’d be waiting for. The kombat would definitely have to change a bit to fit both sides. But both had/have finishers, ultra combos/brutalities. If time and a lot of effort were put into this, we’d see the greatest match ups. Just as an example snk vs capcom 2. 2 similar fighting franchises, and they meshed so well. Sure, not everyones cup of tea. But awesome none the less. Make this happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If KI did a crossover with any other series, I think MK would be the best fit. MK deserved better than what it got itself mixed up with in the past…

How the game will block? This answer is part of the issues this will have. KI and MK, are so different. KI is more close to marvel or sf than to MK

In the core of the game, I mean the gameplay, the situations on the game, the way you must to play, No. Blood, and some gore is the only things KI and MK share. Of course KI was not focused on gore. KI took must elements from SF, 6 attacks, cross overs, combos style. And some others from the success of MK 2, some gore, great sound effects, and finishing moves (not mercy or ultimates) and combining this they put their own elements with the combo style, the way to implement the enders and not mercy, and 10 pop characters taken from movies and pop culture of the 90s. The result a game play that, back them,was really fun, and for the fans still is, but in my opinion the new KI is WAY BETTER THAN KI AND KI2. Is a shame that the new KI is an Xbox one exclusive. The game has some flaws, but is reallyfor good, fun to play and very competitive. With a unique way of mental games and set ups that take the KI experience to a really cool level. KI updated,short roster sucks but is better game than haters will recognize. Long live to good games, no matter the console or platform.
