Classic Killer Instinct Announcer Returns To KI!

This isn’t actually new news, as it was announced a month or some ago that Chris Sutherland (the original announcer for KI) would be returning to voice the combo announcements and so forth in the Xbox One title. What is new, is actually getting to hear his voice in the new title!

About midway through yesterday’s stream, Microsoft/Double Helix entered the options menu and showed that you can switch between announcers: Mike or Chris (they hinted at more options later down the road). They switched to Chris and commenced to battling, allowing the viewers to hear Sutherland’s groundbreaking voice. I don’t know about everyone else watching the stream, but it gave me goosebumps. All respect to Mike for doing such amazing job with his own voiceovers, but Chris will be my announcer choice!
