EVO 2017: Killer Instinct Doesn’t Make The Cut


For the first time since Killer Instinct’s release in November 2013, the highly proclaimed fighting game from Microsoft wasn’t selected as a part of the EVO lineup of fighting games. Here are the nine games that will be present at the tournament instead…

As disappointing as that may be, it doesn’t mean that Killer Instinct is completely ruled out, however. This year, there is what’s called a ‘Player Vote’, where fans can donate money to a choice of nine games, with the game that receives the highest dollar amount at the end of two weeks getting to be present at the tournament.
