For the die hard, ultimate Killer Instinct fan that absolutely must have everything KI related this Holiday season, let’s examine how much money is required to own it all…
Xbox One $499.99- To play the new Killer Instinct, you’re of course going to have to invest in Microsoft’s next generation Xbox One console. It’s pricey, but an absolute necessity.
Killer Instinct Pin Ultimate Edition $59.99- This is the ultimate version of the game that includes the game, the original KI, accessories and classic skins, a pair of collectible pins and a steel book to house them in (and future pins as well!).
Shadow Jago $59.99- Obtainable only by pre-ordering Day One Xbox One Gold, SJ comes at a steep price. For the record, you’re getting a one year subscription to Xbox LIVE too, which you’re going to need anyway right?
Killer Instinct Tournament Edition 2 Fightstick $199.99- Everyone knows that the best way to play a fighter is with a fightstick. The most hardcore of the hardcore fighting game players and/or KI fans will find it truly hard to resist this product, no matter its cost.
Killer Instinct Guide From Prima Games $24.99- The hard cover guide from Prima Games will be an instrumental piece in assisting players with the game. It’s also a really great collectible, even if you never actually open it. It’s definitely an item that every KI collector will want!
So all-in-all, for those looking to own everything that is associated with Killer Instinct Xbox One this year, you’re looking at an approximate amount of $845. That’s not including taxes and shipping costs for some of the items, so we’ll round it off to an even $900. Being a hardcore, ultimate Killer Instinct fan doesn’t come cheap, does it? Not for those who want it all anyway. The minimum you could spend? The price of the console and play Killer Instinct for free and not purchase any KI merchandise. Not bad either, right?

I ordered all of that and anything else that comes out, consider it sold/pre-ordered. I absolutely can not wait for the release much less playing with that awesome fight stick.
Does anybody know if you can use the current gen mad catz fightsticks with the xbox one?
No not as of yet until they make a adaptor when and if they do

Getting the Ultra Edition and the Fightstick is a MUST!!!! Cannot wait!!!! If you can’t afford to pay, you don’t need to play!!!! just saying
For me, it’s the console (obviously) and the Ultra Edition. I’m also picking up a second controller. No point in spending $200 for a nightstick for one game, especially when Microsoft made the new D pad not suck!

The New D-pad is horrible, I play fighters religiously. In 1hr I thought I was gonna need my thumbs amputated they were throbbing in pain. The latest 360 controller has an adjustable d/pad the xbox 1 however does not its a fixed + there are no rounded corners and the transitions from down to right or left are sharp and painful. I played KI at the xbox one tour
Just paid my xbox one pre order layaway, can’t wait to play this game day one. Would’ve bought the pin edition but that’s not available day one and I’m not buying it twice, hopefully its also sold separately from the game or Microsoft changes this bullshit and then I’ll buy the pin edition. Excited to see fulgore and spinal, but would be fine with fulgore and a new character. By season 2 every classic character will be available so I’m not worried too much about who they announce next, riptor was my pick but I know that isn’t going to happen.

They need to lower the fight stick price. That’s a tragedy.
I’ll purchase the Xbox one , ultra edition, shadow jago. Stick if it was $150 or less.
All I care about is the game. They can keep the rest of that stuff.
I’ll go with the Ultra Edition + Prima Guide and that’s it.
