Don’t think that will work… I bought it 2 days before the promotion was announced (16th), even though it said “coming soon” in the XBL store but no reference to future promotions. I clicked on “buy” thinking that I was just going to get it queued until the 16th but it downloaded instantly… for the full price that was announced there. Only on the 16th they said was 33% off. In other words, this isn’t a case where they screwed up and charged me extra. I simply bought it 2 days before the promotion, for its normal price.
Kinda like when you buy a new console and 2 days later the store decides to lower the price… No refunds there.
Oh well, I bought the console under another promotion so I saved some cash elsewhere
