UPDATE: Just to clarify, this update does not allow you to play as TJ Combo… yet. You can, however, choose to fight against him in Player Vs. CPU matchups. You’ll be able to purchase him and/or Killer Instinct: Season Two Ultra Edition on Tuesday, September 23rd.
Killer Instinct: Season Two Early Access has already began with updates rolling out to Xbox Ones right now! Hop online, boot up your Xbox One, and you may have be prompted for an update and already begin trying out the changes to all of the Season One characters! If you haven’t received the update yet, just be patient as it is slowly rolling out to all Xbox Ones in various territories. Leave us a comment letting us know when you’ve received it!

actually i am able to play as tj combo. be warned if you do the following you will not beable to play online till the 23rd. If you select tj combos lock character it will ask you to purchase and redirect you to online store. it will then allow you to purchase season 2 ultra edition. Once you purchase as i have dfone u can now use tj combo. you will be able to use him in survival mode, practice and vs. be warned you will not be able to get any achievements as well till the 23rd
It’s becuz ur fighting Mr combo who gets a bit of life bk … pist of with the update they took orchids 200+ out… bad movie dh
DH? They have no control over KI anymore, its iron galaxy. Also, those combos are a bit obnoxious. Yeah I have my fair share of doubles but those were offline.
does anyone else have trouble with ultra combos? everytime i do one my character automatically does the finisher even if i dont press medium kick and medium punch.

Starting on 9/23 with Early Access, and ending 9/29, all Season 1 Ultra or Combo owners will get an automatic 10% discount on the purchase of the S2 Ultra Edition! It’s our way of saying thanks for being part of S1 and believing in Killer Instinct.
Even if you buy S1 (Ultra or Combo) during that week, you can immediately take advantage of the discount on S2 Ultra Edition!

It’s timed released. So different time zones may have it already. Just keep trying and quiting the game and reloading it
The best you can do for the time being is fight against TJ Combo in Versus Mode. He’s definitely a force to be reckoned with. And if you go to the Store, tab-right and then tab-left, you’ll see the wallpaper for Killer Instinct Season Two Ultra Edition with the blue logo as the content on the store is “refreshing”.
