The Killer Instinct team approached Penny Arcade on how to add a neat physical piece with the release the new Killer Instinct. Penny Arcade wanted to go beyond just putting a statue in a box and came up with the Pin Ultimate edition.
The idea is that you get a case that when closed will look like a hardcover book but when opened it becomes a tri-fold display for a custom set of Pinny Arcade pins.
There will be pins of all the characters and it sounds like to collect them all we will have to do some hunting. An example they give is perhaps attending PAX and winning a Killer Instinct tournament. Another is playing one hundred ranked games in a month. Penny Arcade wants you to think of this Pin Ultimate edition more of a scrap book than a “collectors edition”.
Right off the bat you get a Jago and the KI logo pin. Still unclear though how the example of winning one hundred ranked games in a month will work. Will they automatically send you the pin by tracking your stats or will you have to submit some kind of form? We will hopefully find out more soon.

Kim Wu is the most boring character in the series by a mile. If they do bring her back I hope they completely redesign her.

Ah, I see. Of course too. After all the developers did say they will release all-new characters for the new Killer Instinct particularly the female characters/fighters, according to them. So thanks for the info there. Appreciate it
