On March 11th, an update to the Twitch app on Xbox One will finally allow users to broadcast gameplay live exclusively via Xbox One. So if you’ve been itching to live stream some Killer Instinct, you’ll finally be able to in just a few, short weeks! Here’s what Twitch CEO Emmett Shear had to say about the upcoming experience…
“It’s complete integration. It’s exciting because we’ve never had the ability to broadcast from a console like this with such a deep level of integration. The concept of being able to join a broadcasters’ party is really cool, and it’s another step in the direction of interacting more closely with broadcasters.”
As mentioned above, joining a broadcasters party is something brand new to Twitch and will open up the broader connection between the broadcaster and the viewer. Interesting, right?
Will you plan on streaming some Killer Instinct and other Xbox One games? Let us know in the comments!
